Several experiments studying dynamic magnetic field

4.3. Results of experimental study

The aim of this experiment was to study the amplitude U2   and phase ficut.gif (844 bytes)2  of the inductive emf in the single conducting probe, with respect to the probe location in the gap l, input phasing of the primary windings and voltage variation U1c  across the winding c from 0 to 5 V, with constant voltage across the winding a U1a = 5 V . We conducted this study at the frequency 100 Hz.

The results of measurement of the amplitude of induced emf U2 (in the units 102 V) are presented in Table 3. Lilac background denotes the data yielded out of gap, i.e. when the probe, being at the level of core gap, exceeded the boundaries of gap. We picked these data exceptionally with the consultative purpose, to extrapolate the plots to the region without the ferromagnetic core, where the regularities would some change.
